You are invited to the opening of the new Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Legacy Space on May 27 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

There will be light refreshments and presentations from our partners and the Indigenous community, including award-winning author, Drew Hayden Tayor, and our former Poet Laureate, Sarah Lewis.

Creating a Legacy Space at the Ptbo Library is one step we're taking on our path towards reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. An important part of this journey is offering free education and active programs to people in our community that are led by or with our Indigenous partners. This is the first Legacy Space ever created inside a public library.
