Set aside an afternoon to craft with us and learn new skills along the way.
In this session, facilitator Rebecca Wasson will go over the history of Zentangle and will introduce you to the vocabulary, the tools and the basics steps to create your own beautiful Zentangle art.
The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. It requires no prior artistic ability, it increases focus and creativity, while encouraging an increased sense of calm and personal well-being.
Please note: a $10 + HST supply fee is due at the time of registration for this session. Each person will receive a kit containing all necessary supplies.
Other sessions:
February: Make Shibori-Inspired Paper Snowflakes
Creativebug instructor Mia Semingson brings back the nostalgic joy of making the paper snowflakes from your childhood and elevates them with a shibori-inspired dip dye. Learn how to fold and cut Japanese washi paper as well as basket-style coffee filters and then play with dye to make decorative, sophisticated snowflakes that are truly one of a kind and a surprise to reveal. Hang them individually or string them together as a beautiful garland.
Please note: if you are more than 10 minutes late for a program you may not be admitted.
